Client Testimonials

Founder Lee Williamson and his team are focused on empowering young people to find their voice, build confidence, and develop transferable creative skills. Watching their programmes grow to more than ten schools—while maintaining its quality, integrity, and child‑centred approach—has been especially rewarding, with strong momentum for further expansion.

The development of the Samsung‑powered Film Festival at Roscommon Arts Centre marked a key milestone. What started locally quickly demonstrated national potential, attracting meaningful collaboration across education, arts, technology, and community sectors.

Sustainability has been central throughout. By aligning with Creative Schools, offering BCP‑linked learning opportunities, and exploring multiple funding pathways, these projects have evolved further into scalable, resilient models. Their journey shows how strategically supported creativity can deliver long‑term impact for children, schools, and communities.

Shuttermaniac are a creative, passionate, and skilled team of professionals, not only knowledgeable in the field but also dedicated to providing top-notch cutting edge service and support. As Creative Associate with Creative Schools, I have engaged with Lee and his team, on some very unique, youth-voice centered, educational multimedia projects since 2022.

Shuttermaniac took the time to understand the individual needs and requirements of each school, and developed creative, tailoured, film and digital educational experiences for the young people which exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend Shuttermaniac for any educational content, media training and film creation. They excel at keeping user-centered design and education at the heart of what they do.

The “Mini Motion Pictures” filmmaking education initiative has not only made waves at Curraghboy NS but has also inspired creativity and sustainability in other participating schools, including Scoil Bhríde Mountrath in County Laois, Lanesborough National School and Sacred Heart Primary School in County Longford, and Boher National School in County Offaly. These schools embraced the program’s ethos of eco-friendly filmmaking, integrating upcycled technology and sustainable practices into their projects. Each school brought its unique perspective to the initiative, highlighting the power of collaborative efforts in fostering environmental awareness and digital innovation among students.
