Shuttermaniac™ Award-Winning Storytellers and Innovators

Originally conceived at Griffith College Dublin in 2013 and further developed by Creative Producer Lee Williamson in 2019, Shuttermaniac™ is a film and multimedia production outfit dedicated to exceptional storytelling, thoughtfully curated film education, sustainable technological practice, and meaningful community engagement.

Shuttermaniac™: Vision, Passion, Ethics

Shuttermaniac™ is about seeing, creating, and telling stories with intensity and curiosity. Our work is driven by focus, passion, and creative obsession, the traits that allow us to explore ideas deeply, approach challenges from unique angles, and bring vision to life with authenticity.

We recognize that neurodiverse traits can be a strength. They fuel curiosity, attention to detail, and relentless energy. They also help us embrace a broad spectrum of disciplines, perspectives, and ways of working, making us more inclusive by design. We champion an environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and empowered to contribute, guided by our Safe to Create code of ethics.

Ethics and inclusivity are central to everything we do. We work with companies and collaborators whose values align with ours. We do not shy away from difficult work or challenging topics. As long as the work is approached ethically and sustainably, we dive in head first, providing all necessary supports to get the message across and achieve meaningful impact.

As we grow, so does our ability to influence change and nurture our processes. Shuttermaniac™ is not just a name. It is a lens, a philosophy, and a commitment to vision, ethical practice, and a creative process that is inclusive, fearless, and unapologetically focused.

Currently, we are delivering a national series of filmmaking and multimedia workshops Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, Longford, Offaly, Laois and Kildare, with plans to expand further.
